2011 Challenge: Logo-motion
The Game:
“Logo-Motion” is played on a 27 by 54 square foot carpeted field. There are two grids available for each alliance to score on. The pegs are positioned on three levels, each level containing three pegs, the highest 9 feet off of the ground.
Autonomous:
Robots begin in a 15 second autonomous period in which they place yellow uber tubes anywhere onto the pegs on the grid. At this time drivers have no control over the robot.
Tele-operated mode:
After the autonomous period, the alliances take control of their robots as they move around and try to place FIRST-logo-shaped inner tubes on the scoring grids, with extra points for forming the FIRST logo.Finale
In the last 10 seconds of the game, robots race to one of the four towers, which are located at the center of the playing field, where they deploy their mini-bots. The mini-bots then race to the top of the tower for their final scoring opportunity.
