FIRST Robotics Team 573 "The Mech Warriors" from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan will again travel this year to the FIRST Robotics Championship in Atlanta.

The team with students from both Brother Rice and Marian High Schools worked together and have successfully built a competitive robot capable of quick scoring with a rotating turret and the agility necessary to avoid being scored upon.

Members of Team 573 have also participated in local science and tech days at area schools. Members have also worked on securing sponsors as well as developing a strategy to ensure that the robotics program at Marian and Brother Rice High Schools continue well into the future.
